Beautiful people... Beautiful moments... Beautiful Romances...

You are beautiful, and I can prove it.

Hi, my name's Dean Webb, and I want to take time out of my life to make your world a more delicious place.

Let me share my visions with you. You're worthy of something special, and so is everyone in your life who you love. For the price of a wonderful dinner at a fine restaurant, I can create an undying work of art.

See what I can offer you and the ones you love. Commission a great work of art. Part of my payment is the honor of being able to work for someone who loves what I do. To me, that's the most important part.

Look into my galleries and find what you like, and I'll make you something special when you're ready for it. If you want to know more about me, scroll on down past the links and I've got my biography for you...

About Dean Webb

Before I started illustrating professionally, I studied art and artists. I've been an amateur art critic for over 20 years, taking in new idioms, understanding the relevance of this technique or the importance of that movement. When I later decided to actually do this stuff, I knew what it would take in order to do something I would consider good enough for my own standards. I knew which artists were my inspirations and which ones weren't. I experimented with many styles, but I knew which ones I wanted to work in most.

The ones I liked looking at the most were the ones I wanted to do. If someone else liked looking at them, then so much the better.

My training? Ahh, I read books and took a class at a junior college. What else do I need to do? This ain't brain surgery. If you like the way what I do looks, then it's all OK. I mean, I read a lot of books and got an A in the class, if it makes you feel any better. I don't think it makes much difference. I never disliked a painter because he didn't have a Master of Fine Arts degree from Prestigious U. The guy who painted the caves at Altamira thousands of years ago was a genius. Who cares who he studied under?

Trust me. I know what I'm doing. I'm doing this art stuff because it's fun and a nice way to spend my free time. I find myself unable to watch sports or go fishing, so this is what I have to do instead of that stuff.

It's just a lot more exciting when I get a chance to share my work with someone. Anyone. You, even.

The artists who really blew my mind and made me want to try drawing and painting for myself would have to include Patrick Nagel, Jean "Moebius" Giraud, John Alcorn, George Zaffino, and Kyle Baker. I don't mind if you haven't heard of any of them. They're still cool artists who make neat pictures. There are others, but I'd say these are my top influences for now. I may not do anything exactly like those guys did, but, wow, they still made some awesome pictures that really touch my soul and stuff.

I've got a beautiful wife, beautiful children, and I don't look so bad, myself. I live in Dallas, Texas, so if you ever want to stop by and visit with me, I'd be happy to take you on out to a local Tex-Mex place and we'll have a ball.

My works have been acquired by private collectors around the globe. You get to be a "private collector" yourself once you plunk down your money. When you do so, you'll be joining the folks from Argentina and Bahrain on up to Wyoming and Zambia who have enjoyed my work. Thanks to the Internet and reliable postal services in the US and other countries, being appreciated internationally isn't really all that hard. To me, appreciation from Missouri or Pennsylvania is as precious as appreciation from Brunei or Helsinki. I don't care where you are, I want you to start your private collection of my works today!

Art. It's Good for you!
